I just finished a book called "Book of Lies" that uses the origin of the Superman comics as a major plot point, especially that issue and some of the back story behind the original Superman Not a great book, but OK on a rainy day. |

Rynar: There are lots and lots of things I don't own. I do, however, have a ludicrously large comic book collection that began when my paternal grandfather first moved to the United States. You can also blame that comic book collection for my relentless study of 20th Century pulp fiction and print. |

Yeah, I seriously wished I owned four copies of DC #27, especially given the rather abrupt manner in which DC ended vol. 1 of the longest running comic book in the United States -- 881 continuous issues plus 12 Annuals and issues #0 and #1000000. |
