Went and bought a tshirt yesterday, kind of an impulse purchase and all that. Picked up a 2x as was tradition. Got home, and it was absolutely huge on me. Now, I tend to like shirts being a little more baggy and whatnot, but this was a bit much. Took it back and got an XL and it fit right! :)

So yeah, I've lost an X. Overall, over the past 2 years or so from my peak at 296.6, I've lost a shade over 50 pounds. Scale this morning said 244.8.

Huge milestone.

My first thought on reading the thread title: how did Müs lose a female chromosome! Could this mean the end of the brohoof?!????

Ack! Stupid Biology class! I'm gonna be so glad when this semester's over :p

Congrats. Great feeling, I know it from experience.

Now, if I could just lose the weight all over again.

The hard part is the keeping it off. I've changed my diet enough so that I'm maintaining... but I've had to kick my own *** to up my activity level.

I've found that I *really* enjoy being on the bike, and I'm up to riding 20 miles or so 3x a week.

This probably won't happen. My frame won't allow it. I have very broad shoulders and am fairly tall.

However, having an XL be a little looser on me? Yeah, that'll happen :)

****, I'm skinny as hell and I wear an XL fairly regularly. Especially long-sleeved shirts. After a few washes, a large won't make it all the way to my wrists. Some of that depends on the brand, I'm sure.

Must be! We have extremely huge stuff over here... I could swim in a guy's medium shirt and a L shirt with a belt would make a good mini dress for me lol.

Plus you could always get a tight shirt in L once the XL starts feeling slightly loose. Tight jeans + shirt is in this year =P

Must be regional or something, I'm right around 245-250 and I need an XXL. However, I'm also tall, so I need XXL for the length too. But an XL around here is definitely too small on me.
