That geek definition is, uh, scarily accurate. Hell, even the picture is (when I'm wearing my glasses)... Points to nerds, though, for having their moniker originate from Dr. Seuss. |

I would have to go with a little of both as well. I think it's a horrible description of geek about ten years ago, but it's a decent description of what people are trying to make geek mean today. It's still not to the quasi-hipster that the chart describes though. |

I'm pretty much Nerd, unfortunately. Just not the "Nerd Talk" part. But, yeah, right down to professions. I'm one of those who would prefer to be called Geek, if anything. |

Once again, the ridiculous notion that owning a Mac over a PC makes one trendy or hip (or in this case, even socially capable) rears its ugly head. Preferring a Mac simply proves you bought into a marketing campaign to convince you to pay 3x the price for half the performance and functionality. |

Not really either. I'd say I have geekish tendencies, but that's as far as I would go. |

Well, Oonagh's infographic indicates that PC people ARE 38% more likely to be good at math. |

They also watch Jay Leno. Being better at math strikes me as something of a Pyrrhic victory. |

According to the table, I'm a nerd with good social skills. All the rest fits, though. |
