It snowed last night and a set of footprints(probably boots, don't know) have appeared in our backyard. Very strange.

Big Foot is getting sneaky

I take your yard isn't fenced? Is there anything nearby that would make your yard a short cut to get to? Residential area?

Could just be someone taking a short cut, or lost, or someone casing your house, depends on the set up. Did they come close to the house?

Did anyone else read that news story about the escaped mental patient axe-murderer who had a boot fetish?

So, could you not tell what kind of prints they were because there was more snow on top of them? Of did you see them from the house and not go out in the snow to investigate?

Maybe it's because I grew up in snow, looking at tracks, etc., all the time, but if they're man-size prints, it's pretty clear it's a man. Bears should be not out and about so much ... You don't have moose, right? Maybe elk?

If they're just covered in fresh snow, then you should be able to brush some away and get to the bottom of the original print and see what's there.

Man, I miss snow.
