James Cameron journeyed to the bottom of the Marianas Trench, 35,756 feet below the surface. He planned to stay down there 6 hours, but remained only for three. Not clear why. He was only the third person to go down since the first and only time the original two went down in 1930. Cameron stayed longest on the bottom. The deep-sea dive was his 34th, so it's not like he's an amateur at this. I once read that he was happy for the success of one of his movies so that it meant he could do more deep-sea stuff. I dunno, I find this kind of *****' cool. Will be interesting to see what kind of footage he brings back. A film is planned, of course. |

I'd say that's pretty awesome. And I am **** terrified of the ocean...any body of water that I can't see the bottom of from the surface. |

His critics can truthfully say that James Cameron sank to a new low. |

Go James Go! It is, after all, the most metal part of the entire ocean. |
