I don't care if it is a 102 outside. No way I am getting in that lake with my naughty bits hanging out. Way too cold for me. |

I think after going in that lake, nothing would be hanging anymore. More like 'crawled back into your neck' Because of its depth and given how far north it is, Lake Superior has got to be one of the coldest lakes in the lower 48. Why would they put it on the list? |

Having never skinny dipped, is it that much of a difference to be wearing a bathing suit vs wearing nothing? |

Mookhow wrote: Having never skinny dipped, is it that much of a difference to be wearing a bathing suit vs wearing nothing? Yes, because skinny dipping is a group activity. |

Sorry, I meant in context of Raell's comment: Raell wrote: I don't care if it is a 102 outside. No way I am getting in that lake with my naughty bits hanging out. Way too cold for me. If a lake is that cold, a cold wet piece of cloth isn't going to make much difference, will it? |

From my general understanding of people who frequent skinny dipping places, the people who like to frequent them are long past being impressed or unimpresed by anyone's schlong. As for Lake Superior.. check out number 4: Quote: Hard-core skinny-dipping combines the ubiquitous Finnish sauna with a teeth-chattering spot of ice swimming. Public swimming holes will usually call for bathing suits, but if you know what you’re doing no one’s going to stop you hacking your own hole and taking the plunge. On a still wilderness evening, under a crisp star-studded sky, scampering from the steamy sauna to the inky water is a withering experience. Nothing like adding hypothermia to your shrinkage! |
