Oonagh and I welcomed our baby girl, Cecilia, to the world this afternoon. The planned C-section went well and both Mommy and baby are doing well in the hospital. |

I got to hold her when she was minutes old and I noticed she was trying to open her eyes (squinting) in the bright OR. I shaded her eyes and they opened right up and looked right at me. My heart melted and I am still recovering. Here is baby girl at about 8 hours old. *spoilered for excessive cuteness*  Spoiler: |

Look into the face of your future Foamy. Soon, everything you do will be for her and Oonagh will feel abandoned (really, that happens, be careful to remember the first love of your life). It is amazing to think how well you are going to fit, wrapped around her little finger. |

That's the exact same hospital blanket they use here in Texas. It must be standard issue or something! (Cecelia is adorable too!) |

Whoever provides those blankets to hospitals must have an absolute monopoly on the market. I have seen them in countless baby pictures from the hospital from all over. |

Readd: He hasn't had a lot of time with her just yet. When I brought him home after meeting her, I asked him what he thought of his sister. He responded with: "She's beautiful. I love her" So I think he'll take well to her. Also, I have to work with him on pronouncing her name correctly. It comes out as "Suh-seal-wuh-we" |
