My job description will essentially be:

a person who can provide application support and maintenance and bug fixes to existing CRM tool and auxiliary applications within their NOC team. This person will be responsible for supporting and monitoring data import process as well as reporting output. Additionally they will encode, test, debug, and install the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining business application programs, which support TransFirst internal and external customers.
• Responsible for developing scripts for monitoring business processes
• Responsible for Tier I and II application support
• Other duties as assigned.

Update:

First day on the new job went swimmingly. Love the people, love the office environment, didn't have to use my AK ;)

Also, Taamar said this story needs to be shared:

A manager got super pissy yesterday about being told her access request form for a new employee was filled out incorrectly (she requested superuser permissions for an app to which nobody outside of IT gets them) and escalated her request with attachments of 4 previously submitted requests as proof that she'd always done it that way before. I somewhat snarkily suggested we return all 5 requests for correction, and my boss said "I love it, do it and put my name on it".

I think I'm gonna be just fine :thumbs:
