Well after 8 years and 90k miles with the Dodge Magnum it was time to lets it go and get something new and more fuel efficient because while 15/23 was ok with gas prices 8 years ago it's painful now.

This is my new ride I just picked up yesterday, a 2013 Subaru BRZ, so far i'm loving it, so much fun to drive and thus far averaging 32mpg, which is amazing after being used to averaging around 18mpg with the Magnum.

My envy runs greener than that grass. Not that I'm much of a car guy, but I like Subarus, and have heard good things about this car. Congrats, very pretty.

Wow, I'm green with envy too. I'd love to get 32mpg. I probably wouldn't fit in that (6'5"), but I had an outback in the 90's and loved it. Subaru makes nice stuff...

This is my first Subaru, actually this is my first time owning a car that wasn't a Dodge in 13 years so a bit weird, but so much fun, and yeah, the mpg is so awesome, especially since it's not a slow econobox or anything :)

Very sharp. Looks like a G37 kinda, I like it. Good luck with it!

Stick or automatic?

It's an automatic, I've never actually learned to drive a stick cause no one in my family ever owned one, and I wouldn't want one with Boston area traffic anyways. It does have paddle shifters and a full manual mode however, and when I say full manual I mean the car won't shift unless you tell it to. It actually feels like a manual with how crisp the shifts are, I've even heard die hard stick shift guys saying they would consider this car in an automatic because it really is that good.

Very Nice car, but really, you should at least learn to drive a stick shift. I'm biased that way though, even though my current car is a automatic.

Once you've mastered the stick shift you will find that driving an automatic is like driving with lag.

Meh, stick shift is a dying outdated technology, to me having to manually shift a car is like having to get up to change the tv, sure I could, but why bother? Especially since automatics now a days get better fuel economy (my car for example only get's 22/30 with a manual while the automatic gets 25/34) and some automatics (dual clutch) get better performance, even high end sports cars like Lamborghini and Ferrari are starting to go that way, and real race cars like formula one cars don't use stick shifts either, what they use is a lot closer to the automatic in my car.

Manual transmissions in automobiles are like vacuum tubes in radios and writing code in VI.

Nice car, Sass. Personally, I wouldn't want an auto trans...I like shifting gears. My truck still gets pretty good gas mileage for it's age, but then I don't drive it as much as I used to. Filling up both tanks (35 gallons total) might cost a lot at one time, but it will last me two or three months these days.
