I have a headboard and foot board with this type of connection but no rails with hookers to go with it.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Midge...wonder if I can buy the hooks separately? I have a metal frame, it just doesn't have the hooks on the end.

You left off the 'n'. it's Midgen. :P

I'll make you a deal. If you won't call me "Midge", I won't call you "Lad". Deal ? :D

And "LOL" at the 'buy some rails' thing...

The image you linked is from the Rockler ad selling exactly what you posted for $14.29...

http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=5289

Edit: If those won't work, try searching around the web for 'bed rail adapter kit'.. see if you can find something that will fit the rails you have.
Here is something at Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Adapto-Hook-Conve ... il+adapter

I suspect your best option is going to be new rails though...

I apologize. Some people find nicknames endearing, I guess you do not.
The link I posted was for the hardware to install within a wooden rail and I do not possess that skill or set of power tools...conversion brackets are what I was looking for but did not know what they were called. Thank you.

Hmmm... Have you considered nails? Big **** at that. Screws would work too, just counter sink em to the desired depth with a standard power drill. That is assuming you have the peg part and not the hooker part.

No apology necessary. "Midgen" is a nickname I've been using for 13 years. A "Midge" is a fly, so, yea, i'd rather that one not stick :P

If you do not buy them online, you could take one of your existing ones in and have it copied at a local metal worker type person. Might even be less expensive, given it's pretty simple and small.

Find a store with your bed. Tear apart the display, profit.

Hooray!!! I finally found a brand new set of rails, still in the box, with hooks for twenty bucks at the thrift store.
Thanks for the help, guys! :)
