If you could only listen to music from one decade and that was the only music you would ever hear for the rest of your days...what would it be?

I've got to go 80's. I can make a case for the 70's but I keep coming back to the 80's. It may be "You Spin Me Around" playing on Pandora right now that is making a heavy influence but I'm going to pretend like it's not.

2000s (assuming we're not limited to Top 40 stuff). Much more variety than previous decades.

I think I agree with 2000's. Finding it hard to make a concrete decision, though.

While I could make equally strong cases for either the 70s or the 80s, I think I'd actually end up going for the 90s.

90s with 65-75 being a close second.

I'd say modern-day is second, with the '60s being close behind that. Then maybe '90s, '50s, '40s, in descending order back to the turn o the century.

Honestly, though, anything but the '80s. Blech.

It would be a very hard choice between the 90's and the 2000's.

Maybe slightly leaning towards the 2000's.

Yeah, if we can split decades, then 65-75 would definitely be in a dead heat with the 2000s. So many classics in that 10-year period.

Ooh, that's hard, I totally love 80's and could listen to them all the times, but I mostly listen to dubstep currently which is mainly 2000-now.

Says you, I find dubstep to be more what I would consider "music" than most of the junk played on the top 40 stations now a days :p

Hummm, while I would hate to give up some of my stuff from the 80's or 90's...if I had to make a pick. I would go with the 60's.

You're better off not knowing, but if you DO want to open that Pandora's Box, Google "Skrillex."

If Techno had a great grandson, it would be Dubstep.

It's music that's all about the sound and beat, as opposed to wha wha my boyfriend/girlfriend broke up with me, I'm depressed, I shot my baby mama with a shot gun, I'm a pre-pubescent boy with no talent who looks like a girl, which is what most music has been for quite some time.

For the brave. I should note that this appears to be one of the melodic pieces I've heard.
