The story catalogued Brutsch’s long history as a controversial volunteer moderator on Reddit and the numerous trolling subreddits he moderated. Chen’s story quickly went viral -- it currently has more than 800,000 views -- and Reddit drew criticism for banning the story from its site. Over the weekend, Brutsch’s new-found notoriety caught up to him and he was fired from his job. |

Not really. Texas is an at-will state, so unless he had a specific contract specifying otherwise, they can absolutely fire him for being a douchebag. |
