It has been announced that The Tilted Kilt is scouting locations here in Sacramento. I've never been in one but the obviously negatively biased reporter made it sound like Hooters in Celtic dress, or a very brief version thereof. So, is it? Or is it actually worth visiting? |

In Cleveland it is the second job for strippers. Worth the visit for the food alone. |

Is this just another ploy to keep the Kings from moving to Seattle? :p |

We've already developed a coalition of very wealthy men planning to buy the Kings and keep them here. If Seattle wants them they better move fast. |

When I was in Chicago for a business trip in February, I took some partners out for lunch. They picked the tilted kilt, and I'd never heard of it before (interesting expense receipt, I am sure). I asked what kind of food it was, and they said bar food. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable. But yes, it is pretty much a hooters with a different motif. Girls wearing skimpy low cut outfits, making sure they are more touchy feely with customers to get even bigger tips, etc. I don't see a problem with having one in your town any more than I would a hooters. But I am sure some extreme conservatives would disapprove. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

we already have at least a couple Hooters here. I went once. The view was nice but the girls were pretty much padded beyond a healthy suspension of belief and most of them, in a very ethnically diverse crew, were bleached blondes. Yes, they were very touchy-feely, but I'm old enough to be their father, and in some cases their grandfather. It felt a little creepy to tell the truth. The food was not to my taste, too expensive for what it was, and the whole experience felt like a tourist trap show. |

I got taken to one in Columbus. It made me uncomfortable. |

If you use Facebook, don't let your friends friend the girls. They are encouraged to set up special FB accounts to friend customers (eg: Sarah-TK) and you will start getting really strange friend recommendations. |

Might be fun to set up fake "Glade FB" accounts so that we could experience that phenomenon, but I suspect more trouble than its worth. The young cuties on the prowl for sugar daddies tend to have poorly set limits. |

Not bad. Hopefully they don't bread their wings as much as Hooters. I love their food, but the breading makes me fill up on wings really fast. |
