The Glade 4.0

So, our group is clearing normal ToC handily, working on heroic ToC, and decided to go back and do some of the heroic ulduar modes. We've killed Iron Council hard mode to get the quest, Thorim hard mode, freya with a keeper up, the first boss with 3/4 towers.

However, all of it pales in comparison to Mimiron's big red button. We're making it to phase 2, but sweet Jesus, what a fight. Has anyone here beaten it?

Let me sum up:

Push the big red button.
World explodes in fire.
Stay 6 yards away from people in vain attempt to keep fire under control, but not spread napalm blasts.
World keeps exploding in fire.
Horrible fiery death from napalm blasts, spreading fire, bombs, and anything and everything else.

We've worked on it for about 2 nights so far.

Beat it on 10s, but with our guild only raiding 25s two nights a week, we don't even get to see Ulduar at all now that we are making progress into ToGC25.

Algalon was a harder fight for us in terms of number of attempts it took us, but Firefighter is probably my favorite fight in Ulduar. It's challenging in more of a cerebral way than in Algalon's mess-up-and-die-immediately, beat-you-in-the-teeth way.

25 man Napalm can't be fun. It got to be pretty brutal even in 10s. People were worried too much about fire placement than they should be I think, as occasionally in P1 the fire control system will clear all the fire from the room. It's towards the end of P1 that it starts to matter.

P3 was the part of the fight that decided it for us, for what it's worth. P1 and P2 took a lot of learning, no doubt, but aside from fire placement it's fairly straightforward. There are a lot of ways to handle P3 and we went from not making the enrage timer on a few attempts to beating him with 45 seconds to spare on our first win, all because of improving/changing P3.

...and those friggin fire extinguishing robots in P3 are evil. Evil!

Shouldn't that button say "EASY" on it?
