My monk is going to turn 90 tonight, so I am going to start seeing what we have available for raids. As I'll be a FOB level 90, it'll take a couple of weeks to gear up through heroics and Timeless Isle, but I'd like to try to get something going, maybe right after Christmas. If you're interested, please declare what class/roles you have available to raid, and what schedule you are available and prefer.

Roster So Far:
  1. Mookhow - Tank/Heal Monk
  2. NephyrS - Tank Paladin
  3. Numbuk - DPS Death Knight
  4. Crimson - ???
  5. Bunny - DPS Hunter
  6. Hod - Heal Priest
  7. Bloodstorm - DPS Mage
  8. Padramur - DPS Warlock
  9. SquirrelGirl - Heal Tree/Heal Monk/DPS/Tank Paladin

On Alliance:

550 Ret/540 Prot Paladin (Human)
531 Arms Warrior
527 SV Hunter
525 Ele/Resto Shaman
525 Guardian Druid

Horde:

82 Prot Paladin, but should be 90 soon. Also got full sets of gear waiting, so will be ready to go on hitting 90.

My schedule is chaotic, but I can make time. Lateish evening CST works best for me.

All Horde side:

For furthest progression I would prefer my dps death knight, which is around 530 ilevel worn.

I also have a 502 rogue.

For throne of thunder and below, I have a 480 healing shaman.

Nights (8pm+ Eastern) are usually best for me, except fridays which I cannot do at all.

Assuming I go healy, then we're short a tank, a healer, and 3 dps for the minimum 10 for a flex raid.

They have a new flex raid browser as if this patch. That may help fill in the gaps.

At the very least we can queue as a group for LFR.

More than likely, I'll just tank on my pally or my monk, but I can't commit to anything yet until I know how my schedule change (Jan 1st) is going to shake out

If Crim tanks and I heal, then we need one more heal and one more dps.

Nah, 2 heals should be fine for 10m, especially Flex.

I've even had groups solo heal fights.

I've been told from multiple sources that flex is far easier to heal than LFR. It wouldn't surprise me in the least, as I have healed LFRs on my shaman.

But two tanks is an absolute must. Tank-swapping mechanics are practically standard on the bosses.

On Flex, iirc, you can solo tank the first 3 bosses with good CD usage.

Second wing, Juggernaut is solo tankable, shamans ideally have 3 tanks.

So we could at least get started with one good tank... Sadly my paladin will not be that one until I farm LFR/Flex a bit for gear.

You really don't want to solo tank Norushen or Fallen Protectors. Immersus I could see

Noru's not bad. You just have to not get purified, which sucks- means other people have to eat orbs.

Fallen Protectors is interesting to solo- you just have to be very careful in positioning.

Both Crim and I have raid tanked before, back in Lich King. We shouldn't have a shortage of tanks, more likely a glut of tanks.

Which is fine for healers to do, since it doesn't affect them healing.

As for schedule, it looks like I'll be busy every other sunday starting in January. My friday game nights are moving to a "every other friday, every other sunday" schedule.

Outside of that, especially weekdays, I'm probably good.

My time is limited: only free Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Could fit in Saturday if it ends before 8:30 pacific time.

I have a Tree, a Mistwalker, and a fresh 90 Ret or Prot Pally, all Horde.

Also have a Shadow priest ally side.

Raiding in WoW from a boat! That's epic.

Slightly different for Ret, but thankfully the gear is about the same.

No luck from Celestials yet, but I did snag some Ord loot.

Pretty decent for 3 hours post hitting 90!

Need to tweak a few slots before I'm ready for wing 1 Flex, but not too much.

If you want to try this raiding thing, please send me a PM with your character/server names for who you want to bring. Also tell me your availablility. I'll try to see if we can cobble something together in the next week or two.

edit: We're shooting for ilvl 510 or so.

I think you've got mine, but it's Raeil/Terenas.

You've got my battletag tho.

Soooo... How're people thinking on this?

I've got my paladin up to 525ish, definitely ready to go for Flex, if anyone else is still interested.

Gear's good for ret and prot both, so I can either tank or DPS.

My problem is my work schedule changed a lot (read to 2nd shift) so I'm really only available Monday evenings, so probably won't be much help :\

I'm not really doing anything other than PUGs in my horde alt, so I can wait til Monday to run on him.

Leveled him for this, so I'm as flexible as can be.
