Other than flasks and speed potions, and fish feasts... anything else that can be used to really crank out the dps? Are there any bombs or items with charges or ... anything a Ret pally could use to go above and beyond in special circumstances? |

Not really. And while fish feasts are great if your baseline stats are all solid, you may want to use other stat food if you're shy on hit for example. If you ever tank, Indestructable Potions work as a pseudo cooldown. You can also pop one right before pulling, and have another available after the first one wears off. |

Yeah, definitely agree if your baselines are good. But sometimes, even so, other food may be more ideal. For instance, an arcane mage may want to forgo the fish feast and bump up his haste even higher (he wants a TON of haste). Best way to be sure is to use a sim program, like RAWR, to determine what stats are most needed (by choosing the "Relative stat values" from the drop down list). Very helpful in determining what stat is really more needed than others, and it is sometimes surprising. |
