So I'm starting to rack up some JPs, but I'm not sure where the Cata NPC to spend them is. Only one I've found so far is in Dalaran, which is Lich King era. Tried WoW Wiki, and can't find anything. Anyone know where I would go to turn these points in? |

You're Horde, right? Go behind Grommash Hold (Valley of Strength, where Grom and the archaeology trainer is) in Org and look for a ramp up the cliff face. At the top of a ramp is a bridge that leads to the back of the second floor of Grommash Hold itself. That's where you'll find the JP vendor. |

Those are Valor Points! The higher tier of the two currencies, them. Justice Points on the other hand come in pretty fast, but only give heroic-quality loot. Ideal for filling in holes left by uncooperative drops. Valor Point stuff is as good as raid gear, so they're not going to give it away quickly to people who only do a heroic a day. :p Though when the next tier of raids comes out, I'm pretty sure all that gear that costs Valor Points now will cost Justice Points, so there is that. Basically it will be easy to stay one tier behind current content as far as gear goes (which is great, because you never have to go back and farm previous instances to gear people up) but if you want current gear in any reasonable amount of time you have to do the raids. Pretty good compromise if you ask me. |

I meant 9k total for both flying speeds (spent 4.5k each -- Honored with Ogrimmar) But yeah, money is definitely easier to come by now that I am in Cata. Trying to AH pre-Cata stuff was painful at times. And how does one get Valor points? Raid only? I haven't run any any Heroics yet, as my item levels isn't higher enough. |

Valor points come at 70 for the first heroic you do in the random dungeon finder per day and raid bosses. You only have to be there for the last boss in a heroic to get the points. So, if you get into a group that has already killed bosses, you'll still get the points as long as you are there for the last boss. Also, you should at least drop the 4k gold for 280% speed. It's easy as pie to hit exalted with org(just buy the tabard and run RFC over and over) and 280% really makes a huge difference. Maybe not quite as much when non-epic flyers were only 60% speed, but still. |

Rodahn, you wouldn't believe how much nicer it is to have a 320% (+10% guild bonus) flying mount. |

It is a must if you have mining or herbalism. Not so much for skinning since you generally stay in the same area for skins(really, you just farm the first two packs of mobs in Tol'vir for skins) |

There are two groups of 5 and each gives 2 per(with a max of 4 per skin), so you can get a minimum of 100 per hour. I haven't been able to find anywhere else that has enough mob density to get more than that. Sure, I can go skin fish and crabs, but they drop way too many scraps to make it worth while and the Obsidian forest has too many blackened dragon scales(plus mobs have like, 90k hp making them inefficient to farm) if you are going for pure savage leather to skill up on. Is there some place I am not aware of that has enough mob density with lowish hp(50-60k would be nice) that drop pure savage leather and not scraps and other things? Aside from the AH, where a stack sells for nearly 300 gold. |

Lenas wrote: Khross, please advise on skinning spots :p There aren't any ...And it's 80 per hour plus bonuses because after the 4th reset, you're hard locked across your account for 60 minutes on any instances. |

I was almost sure it was 5 instances per hour. |

Raltar wrote: I was almost sure it was 5 instances per hour. It's 4 resets in any 60 minute period, which let's you skin them 5 times. And, once you hit that instance limit, it's 60 minutes from the time you exit the last instance.

Lenas wrote: Rodahn, you wouldn't believe how much nicer it is to have a 320% (+10% guild bonus) flying mount. Well, I'm currently the only actively playing person in the guild I am in (RL friend invited me -- kind of an alt guild, as his main guild is Alliance side), so I may need to wait on that. Course, I'm practically single-handedly leveling the guild, so maybe in a few months I'll reach that perk |

So it's really 100 min/200 max leather per ~120 minutes? Assuming you don't farm anything else while waiting on the reset. |

There are water snakes and crocs in the area outside the instance. Or you can go fish fathom eels for super awesome agi food while you wait on the reset. |

Hm. I'm 99% sure back in BC it used to be a 5 instance cap in a total 60 minute span, which would mean so long as you spend 12+ minutes in each instance you wouldn't run into the limit. I farmed a LOT of Sanguine Hibiscus via stealth then, one Underbog instance after another after another. That was awhile ago and could have changed, though. Haven't had any reason to push the limit since... though it sure would be nice to have a skinner now. I've bought nearly all the leather necessary to go from 450 to 525 LW on the AH and it has been a bit painful. |
