The degree of immorality of the thefts (including drinking) is all the same.

The degree of social violation is what is different. A person one cohabitation with is expected a higher degree of trust than a person invited, which has a higher degree of trust than a crasher (whom also commits trespass).

Interesting distinction, but don't you think violation of trust is a factor in judging a person's morality?

I'm sure it is to many people.

However it isn't a violation of rights to violate trust and it shouldn't be illegal to do so unless such trust is via a legal operation (as in you didn't vote for a legislator who then enacts legislation contrary to existing law, or a police officer who abuses the general trust of the people to violate rights, etc).

Hosting a party where you share beer, don't police crashers, and let **** take more than contribute and steal from you makes you the most egregious violator.

Following the analogy, then, the host or "government" (since they're running the show they're clearly the analog), is the greater transgressor.

Make people bring their own damn beer, police crashers, and if you do have any community property, stomp anybody who violates it.

Yeah see I dont get why the "host" is the government. If you're a host, you're paying for wherever it is you're hosting this party right? Your house, apartment, some hall, whatever. You're paying for the mortgage or rent from your own pocket. That to me is a host. Government isnt paying from earnings, they are spending money brought in from taxes.

Because when it comes to your analogy, as listed by RD below exactly as I envisioned it, the layout is as follows:

Host: Citizens
Invitees: Legal Immigrants
Crashers: Illegal Immigrants.

But what you're failing to recognize is that the citizens are not dealt with on an individual basis, while the immigrants are. That is to say, individual citizens don't issue green cards and visas, instead they are grouped and represented by the national government. That government represents that group and issues such rules and identitification as necessary. As such, the roles should instead be restated as:

Host: Government [representing citizens]
Invitees: Legal immigrants
Crashers: Illegal immigrants.

Bad government analogies are still bad.

Wait, it's a government analogy? I thought it was about beer... Stealing is wrong, but drinking someones last beer is rude. Don't do either.
