Hinckley shot Ronald Reagan and others to impress Jodie Foster.

It has long been my assertion that Hinckley succeeded, but the timing was such that Reagan was too popular to let die, Bush Senior wasn't ready to take over, and we had a double playing the part of Ronald Reagan for the rest of his life. Due to the makeover and the stress of pretending to be the President, the double's already present Alzheimer's accelerated rapidly. The lack of respect Bush showed Reagan when Bush took over, wasn't because he disrespected the real RR, who died a few years earlier, but because he was glad to see the double's back. Nancy went along with it and stayed with the double even after they left the White House, because she was an accessory after the fact. The legacy was such that when the double finally died she suffered through the death of Ronald Reagan again.

Discuss if you like, tell me I'm crazy if you think so.

Yeah, I expected something like that. You're still sore I told people you wanted me to ride you across the river.

I'm gonna go with crazy, especially since the attempt on Reagan's life didn't occur until March 30, 1981.

Fixed.

I hear Mike is HUGE! I'd imagine Müs is still sore...

:P

Oh, yeah, and Micheal? I'd need overwhelming evidence to believe that.
