I've shrunk again *sigh* , now that all the pregnancy bonuses are gone and I've lost all the weight. (My pants are falling off hooray!) I'm a 35 band size but they don't make those so I have to choose between a 34 or a 36. Cup sizes, I'm in between an A and a B. Being in between both band and cup sizes is a problem. A 36 B is too big since they enlarge the cup slightly with the bigger band so even if I have it on the tightest hooks, the top of the cups are slightly loose. A 34 B fits great around the band on the first hooks, but the underwire from the cup is just slightly too small and digs into my sides causing an unflattering look. A 34 A is way too small, and a 36 A fits ok-ish but there is a tiny gap between the underwire and my skin because I fill out the cups just a little too much. Also, I am annoyed with TPTB when it comes to bras. Not every small breasted woman wants gobs of padding...some of us actually like the way our breasts look and feel. Feel being very important because it really sucks when you are in a passionate moment and while your bra is getting lots of petting and rubbing, you and your poor ladies don't feel a dang thing! Along with that, small breasts like underwire too. Just because we don't want the padding doesn't mean we want our only other option to be something with no underwire. |

Thank you, Vindi. Oddly, all the sites are saying that underwire is bad for circulation...they are one step away from saying that underwire bras promote breast cancer. That's an interesting thought. I love love love the Agent Provocateur bras, but I hate hate hate their prices! |

Guess until I can afford custom made bras I'm stuck with the 34 or 36 B. I bought a 36 A today and after wearing it for about 3 hours my poor lil boobies hurt really bad. :'( Poor girls. I'm so sorry! Going to take a bath and contemplate bra burning. |

There is always the option of just doing without. Also,my wife likes those little camisolle(?) shirts with the built-in bra. She is not terribly large-breasted either. |

Stampi and my SO have taught me already that you often get what you pay for with a bra. I do not even really register it as a concern when they say a bra is going to cost 30-80 dollars anymore. But my daughter said this is a bit better priced... and to give you this link: Tilly's bra section |

I feel your pain, LK. Another annoyance is that sizing is not really standard, particularly cup size. So, I end up trying different brands until I get one that fits. And then when I find one that works well, and go out to buy a stack, it is 'no longer available'. |

Oooo tell me about it, SG! That is so annoying. Its not just sizing among brands, its sizing among styles too...demi, full, padded, non padded, etc. Three things I HATE to shop for because they make it impossible: bras, jeans, and bathing suits! |

LadyKate wrote: Three things I HATE to shop for because they make it impossible: bras, jeans, and bathing suits! Oh lord, yes... I must buy my bathing suits from Lands End because I need a one piece and I have a relatively long torso. (I don't wear jumpsuits nor many dresses for the same reason.) And let us just not get into jeans fitting. Designers feel that women's jeans must be very snug, which does not work if you want to work in them. |

If you want more normally fitted jeans, try Duluth Trading Co- they make working clothes for both men and women, their quality is really, really good. |

This is my absolute favorite bra http://mobile.victoriassecret.com/mt/ww ... asdemi-cup It's got some extra padding and it seems to fit me pretty good. I always have trouble finding the right size too, I'm kinda in between. But this one is comfy! |

/sigh If I looked like that model (cup size) maybe I would try that bra. I'm a 40 D and every time I find a bra that I like that fits me well I can never find it again! I hate shopping anyway, but especially for bras! |

I dunno, Jasmy, being a A/B is only good when I'm jogging lol I would like to have a little more than God gave me though. |
