Here is some random dude I googled at what looks to be an average local meet: So yeah just bust out 3 of those and I guess that's it for whatever lifts you're trying. As far as I can tell you get 3 chances, but once you miss one that's it. So the plan is to do one you know you can get, then work up from there. I saw some results pages for another random local meet here: http://www.njpowerlifting.com/results/2010day1.pdf and judging by that I can actually be fairly competitive in my weight and age category. At least enough so that I wouldn't utterly embarrass myself. Looks kinda fun and I can have the wife and boy there cheer me on, get a nice little award or whatever they likely give you just for competing and there you go. Take some video so I can show the little guy daddy was a beast back in the day. |
