I got a Kodak PlaySport camcorder and a handlebar mount, and this is the first video I took.

Yeah, for the most part its 27 mins of laps around my park, but there's a Moose at the end.

Wow!, great picture, skimmed through it, looks like a real nice park to do your riding in. Neat to hear your voice too. I like the moose at the end as well.

Yeah, its a great little park. The track is about a mile or so with some good ups and downs. Nice varied terrain and such :)

The camcorder has HD capability up to 1080p, but I have it set for 720p@60fps. I got it for a hell of a steal $122. Plus, its waterproof to 10'.

You may have a future in action films (as a camera man)

I recognize the slow start. Clipping in? :)

Bike season is officially over here. It began to snow lightly today. I expect a ton of snow this winter based on how much rain we received. Sigh.

Yep. I have a nice pair of Specialized Primo SPD shoes that I got for $45 on clearance. It made a big difference in my riding.

Very cool video.

Some suggestions:

buy or make some type of shock absorbing mount for the camera---there is a lot of noise coming from the vibrations of the bike. Not just the high clicking noises but also a shitton of bass. If you could eliminate some of that, it would help...

You'd probably be better off getting a seperate recording device for audio and a nice clip on mic and clip that on your helmet or something...but then there's wind noise to consider.

The sound from the vibration of the camera/bike is so loud it's causing the cameras audio level compression to engage which is why the audio sounds like it's cutting in and out (audio level compression lowers the overall output volume when the input signal is close to clipping.) So, even if you use post processing filters to remove the noise, the dynamics would still be messed up from the compression.

With a seperate mic, you could get a wind filter or find a way to shield it from wind noise...and the great thing about the seperate mic is you'll be able to control the audio level compression and the wind noise is very easy to filter out.

Once you get that...find a kickass downhill scenic place to ride and ride with the sun at your back. That would make for a hella kickass video.
