At one of be work pot-lucks this season one of the co-workers brought in a dish she claimed was figgy pudding, the dish mentioned in that Christmas Carol. It seems to be a loose alcoholic fruitcake that is steamed, not baked. It was tasty, bu not at all what I think of when I think of pudding. It also had several types of fruit in it, not just figs. it was interesting to finally taste one, and as said before, tasty. Small bowl only, not a good dish for diabetics.

Meant to put this in food, not tech. Will a moderator please move it?
