WTF is with this junk? Its invading and taking over my normal yogurt section of the grocery store. Its got a nasty texture, and it smells and tastes like rancid milk - who eats all these crap? Make it go away |

You're checking the date on it right? It's supposed to be better for you, and I was trying to bring myself to eat it because I was told it would stick with me better until lunch. I wasn't impressed with the product or the claims. |

I use it in place of fat free sour cream. It is full of protein and very good for you. |

Love it or hate it (or anywhere in between), Greek Yogurt has officially jumped the shark... http://wholesomemommy.com/review-honey- ... ek-yogurt/ I actually saw this on an endcap in the grocery store this morning (I never go down the cereal isle). |

I love Greek yogurt. Fat free is only about 140 cal per cup with tons of protein and low carbs. I even like the taste...however, if it smells then there is something wrong. |

They definitely were NOT expired. Its probably just my personal sense of taste/smell... but really - quit crowding out my normal yogurt! |

Funny, I saw that yesterday, too, Midgen. Weird. It's foul stuff, we've tried it a couple of times, but haven't really liked it. Yet, I come home today, and my wife has gone shopping and come back with a half-dozen cups of it. Better her than me. |

Dannon's Oikos brand is delicious if you buy a flavored one. Plain greek yogurt is nasty. |

Chobani Greek Yogurt FTW! High protein content + probiotics + daily does of dairy. I've tried a few brands and I always come back to Chobani. |

I've been wondering the same thing Crim. It's like every third commercial is for some damn greek yogurt. |

Nothing else clears out my two year old's bowels better than Greek yogurt. It's almost as up there as Kashi Go Lean Crunch. |

I mean, technically it's just compacted regular yogurt. You take regular yogurt, hang it in a cheese cloth, and you've got greek yogurt. So per volume, it's more protein, and way less carbs, as the sugars drain out with the liquid. |

OK, just had a root canal today, so opening my mouth is not high on my list of things to do right now. But, I haven't had anything since breakfast, and looking in the fridge I notice some yogurt. "Cool," thinks me, "that'll do the trick." Except, it's Greek yogurt. What a horrible consistency. So I added some heavy cream and a little milk (and some honey), and stirred it up - and now it's pretty tasty. I feel like the cab driver in Repo Man: "Yeah, I had sushi once. Took it home and cooked it, tasted just like fish." |
