My usual breakfast is:

1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup wild blueberries
2/4 scoop of strawberry whey protein powder
Some red grapes

If I have any fresh berries I'll throw them in too. Delicious!

Usually have a 1/2 cup of tea with honey too, and a glass of water.

This morning?

Two 6 oz. cartons of yogurt and a diet Snapple, Raspberry Iced tea.

Chobani non-fat greek style yogurt.
Oatmeal, either instant oats or oatmeal to go bar. Granted, whole steel-cut oats would be the best, but those take a while to prepare.
A bowl of Kashi cereal.
Sometimes some eggs and fruit if I have time.

Water.

I rarely eat breakfast. I generally only eat once a day. Sometimes it is lunch, sometimes dinner. Rarely will it be breakfast. I always get sick if I eat within 3 hours of waking up.

I usually have a smoothie, some frozen fruit and fresh berries. I make 2, one for myself, one for my wife.

2/3 cup of blueberry/acai/pomegranate juice (currently a blueberry/acai mix). Fruit only, no extra junk please and thank you.
2/3 cup vanilla soy milk
16 oz frozen fruit (strawberries/mixed berries/tropical mix)
2 bananas (peeled and frozen in advance so I don't need to worry about them)
1-2 handfuls of fresh berries. Blueberries are looking good at Central Market/Whole Foods right now, so we've been going with that.
1-2 handfuls of the secret ingredient: Baby Spinach. Yes, spinach. You don't taste it, and with all the deep dark purple going on you barely even see it.

This morning was a NutriGrain bar.

I don't like to eat first thing in the morning, but I need to have something in my stomach when I take my meds. I'll usually make something else to eat about mid-morning when I'm actually hungry.

This morning? Nothing.

I meant to have one of the yougurts I keep in my office fridge, but I never got around to it.

Come to think of it, I meant to get coffee, too...

I normally drink some black tea in the morning, and eat either yogurt, a kashi bar, or eggs/toast if I have the time. Fruit bowls are great if I have the time to make them.

That's a neat idea sweetening the oatmeal with the whey powder, plus adding protein. I'll have to try that. I've tried plain oatmeal with berries added and it...doesn't taste too hot. Would have to add sugar to sweeten. Or wait, do you add the grapes to the oatmeal too? :?

Nah, he's a Paladin, he wouldn't do illegal stuff, its against the code.

He probably means medieval coke

Coke is the solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. Cokes from coal are grey, hard, and porous.

Good stuff when you're a blacksmith.

Where do you get acai, is it of good quality and is it expensive?

I've seen it at Whole Foods and Central Market (it's the upscale version of HEB here in Texas, on par with Whole Foods, some more exotic stuff there tho), but the Acai/Blueberry juice I've been using recently came from Costco, it's the Kirkland brand. I'd have to double check but I'm pretty sure it's a no-sugar-added kind of thing.

To be honest, I don't recall how much it was. More expensive than regular juice, I know, and it's only in smallish containers (2 pack at Costco). Maybe 10 bucks or so? I'll have a look next time I'm there.

I did find it here, says it's like 11.83 online, but YMMV. Assuming you have a Costco membership :)
