Bangers: Package of Bratwursts Large bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale Boil brats in beer until cooked through, transfer to grill for a few minutes. Easy Peasy. Mash: an appropriate number of red potatoes. salt milk stick of butter Wash and cut red potatoes into chunks. I left the skins on cause I like em. Put into pot. Fill pot with hot water till taters are covered add salt, and bring to a boil after boiling, simmer for ~20 mins until tender. Drain water. add milk and butter and mash until they have reached desired consistency. Gravy. I cheated and used some beef base. Mixed with water and flour, and it was actually pretty damn good. |

Nah, that's not Freudian or nothin'. Looks tasty, though, since I'm a sausage guy. Brats are not bangers, though. To me, bangers are significantly more bland than brats. I grew up with (WI) brats, though, so they're kinda like the holy grail of ground, cased meat, for me. |

Yeh, couldn't find real bangers. But then again, I didn't look too hard. I *do* like me some brats though. |

I had bangers and mash for breakfast my first day in London in one of the city parks...it was so good! I applaud your choice |
