So I'm not much use in the kitchen unless it's frozen or easily prepared...but...I love food shows.

In no particular order, my favorite are

Man vs. Food
Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives
Dinner Impossible
Anything with Gordon Ramsey(I've been able to catch his shows on BBCA, The F Word and Kitchen Nightmares)

There is a BBQ place here in Columbus called Hank's that is supposed to be on DDD some time soon.

Gordon Ramsey rocks. I'd want to see him and Donald Trump in an ******* cage match.

Dinner Impossible is great, Showdown is too. I love watching Bobby Flay get pwned. America's Worst Cook was a blast. And, of course, Iron Chef.

And they're currently going through the new season of the Next Food Network Star.

Flay pretty much sets himself up to lose those showdowns. They know the judges are looking for a more "authentic" local version of whatever meal is being prepared, and Flay always changes it up a lot with his own spin almost guaranteeing he loses, and when he does win, which is very rare actually, you can tell he's a bit embarrassed. The show is more to promote all these great specialty cooks across the nation, but I still do love it.

Ramsey kills me. I love that guy. He will be all F#$#$! F*&(&^! F()&*(&! in one instance then as calm as a still pond the next. I think the thing I like about him is that yeah, he will GO OFF on you, but will also tell you what a good job you did or how well you handled something. He doesn't just beat you over the head. You've got to think that as exploding as he can be, when he takes the time to tell you you did a great job and something turned out really well it means he really meant it.
