Peppers stuffed with peanut butter and wrapped in bacon? Huh. You'll have to let me know what that tastes like. |

not peanut butter... sun dried tomato and roasted garlic cream cheese. Usually they are done with jalapenos, but I'm a weenie about heat, so these are sweet peppers. On the grill the peppers with soften and get juicy, the cheese will get melty, and the bacon will get crisp. |

Ienan wrote: Those do sound amazing. I wonder how'd it work with habaneros. Muhahaha! The higher rated peppers tend to be smaller, with thinner skins and a lot of tissue inside; I don't know how readily they could take a filling. Also, you'd want to work with gloves. If we ever have a glade picnic I'll try it with Fresnos. |

Wow, that's a good eater. My kids won't touch peppers (but they'll devour broccoli and cauliflower, so I really shouldn't complain). |

I've done something very similar using sun dried tomato, fresh mozz, and diced melon bits as my stuffing. Those look delicious Tam. |

I've got a small pepper farm in my back yard. Habaneros, Thia, Jalapeno, Anaheim, Albuquerque, Big jims, and Cerrano looks like Im going to have try this on a few different types. I have on bush started as 4 plants that were to close together. you never know what the peppers from that will taste like. It has actually produced sweet Habaneros, and screaming hot Anaheims. |
