Ok, so here's a moral question for you all: There's a Mexican place near me that serves far and away the best Mexican in the area. The problem: I have heard that they steal credit card numbers. I have not been able to find any 100% solid proof of this, but still . . . So my question is: Does awesome Mexican food trump the morality of not supporting a place that potentially steals credit card numbers (even if I only pay cash)? |

If you have no concrete proof of the wrongdoing... do not fault the restaurant. Just pay cash. |

Lots of rumors get started, some of them may have some basis in reality. Do you know anyone who has had their card numbers stolen and abused and if so why aren't they beating on the police station's door saying "shut them down!" You do know they serve good Mexican food. Let them steal the serial numbers off the cash, what do you care. I remember when the Mexicans used to piss in Corona beer before they bottled it. Rumor had no legs when the bottles were randomly sampled, no percentage of urine. Sure screwed with their sales numbers though. |

I agree with everyone..if it's a rumor and you don't know for sure that someone has had their credit card numbers stolen..I would eat there, no problem. If I did know for sure, then no, I would not want to go to a place that had those type of employees..because if they do that, what else are they doing.. |

No problem eating there. Just go when it's someone elses turn to pay. :p Seriously though, if there are rumors going around, they've probably heard them too, and dealt with the problem (if there ever was one). Probably worth while to keep an eye on your balance though, just in case. |

Pay cash, and feel free to dine. While there, ask to speak with the manager and tell him why you are paying cash. That said, the only thing that has ever stopped me from eating at a Mexican restaurant was a mysterious lack of dogs around the building. |

Hmm, the one I won't eat at typically had winos passed out in the parking lot. Not such a nice part of town. |
