At first I always wondered why they kept putting it on their menu then taking it off for a while then putting back on.

Then I thought that maybe its popularity would overshadow many of their other menu items to the point where they'd have all this surplus laying around unsold.

McRib is by far the best menu item McD's has IMO. Angus burgers come in second.
