...no, not that one. This one! Steak N' Shake has introduced their latest tasty goodness, the Royale. Two moist steakburger patties, tomato, lettuce, mayo, cheese, crispy bacon, and a fried egg over hard. Now I know Steak N' Shake is nowhere near the first restaurant to introduce the concept of a burger with egg on top, but they're the first major fast food chain I've seen introduce it onto their national menu, and let me tell you I've shoveled down some fast food in my day. This burger is well executed. When I have a fried egg, I want it to be over hard. When I want bacon, it better be crispy. No funky meat, no soggy bun. I had this at our local Steak N' Shake with a helping of onion rings - everything was absolutely perfect, fresh, juicy, and delicious. Rating: A (Highly Recommended) Steak N' Shake gets the points for making the fried egg burger accessible to the masses. The only reason it doesn't get the A+ is that it didn't come with a side of Lipitor. It probably shortened my life by a couple weeks. I'm still debating whether those weeks would have been worth it without this burger though... Looks pretty tasty ... except for the egg! That being said, I have had the "Sonora-Style Enchilada" at a local landmark restaurant here in LA, and enjoyed it: Quote: Sonora-Style Enchilada (#502) The first enchilada served at El Cholo. Layered corn tortillas, chicken simmered in a tomato-onion-cilantro broth, and fried egg. So, I'm not totally adverse to the egg idea. I'll have to check to see if there's a Steak n' Shake nearby. Never really heard of them before. |

That does look like a tasty burger. If you truly want a burger that will shorten your life, can't beat this place: The Heart Attack Grill Their burgers are so deadly, they killed their spokesperson. |

Last time I had an egg on a hamburger I got so sick I fainted in front of Denny's cash register and proceeded to vomit outside. |

It's all Corolinth's fault. if he hadn't bailed on Lydiaa, then Taamar would have had a much better childhood and done better than Raltar. Poor Lenas, it isn't your fault, it is Corolinth's. |

They didn't have the outliers in Vegas or in the east back then. |
