Anyone ever read this novel by Ernest Cline? I'm listening to the audiobook now on the recommendation of a friend.

To get a sense of it, it starts out by recounting the magic "dot" in the Atari 2600 game "Adventure". It takes place in a world where an MMO is comprised of virtually all the worlds population. Right now the protagonist is... well I wont ruin it.

Spoiler:
He's playing an arcade game of Joust against a Demi-Lich in the Tomb of Horrors within a virtual world on a real-life quest that the MMO creator devised. I'm only at the beginning.

Suffice to say this is an homage to everything 80's including D&D, arcade and video games. Filled with 80's trivial and references.

The audiobook is read by Wil Wheaton.
