Qhorin tells Jon that one nights watchman inside of their ranks would be worth 1000 of their soldiers, says Jon must be the one. Jon says they will never trust him, Qhorin says they will if he is convincing. Then Qhorin starts yelling at him, etc. I thought it was still explained well enough in the show. Not as well as the book, but we can say that about the entire season, can't we?

No comments about the lame mage tower sequence and Dany pretty much pillaging Qarth?

I don't know, the dragons roasting that creepy bastard was kinda cool..hehe.

I had a problem with how they treated Tyrion. I thought the father would learn he basically single handedly planned the defense of the city and even personally led the charge. Meanwhile Joffrey ran and hid with mommy.

I wanted Tywin to come in and just **** all over Joffrey and give Tyrion a little credit. At least the horse **** on his hallway floor.

Yeah, that will never happen. Tywin is anything but a fool except when it comes to his children. Jamie and Cercei were banging each other right under his nose for decades, and he knew nothing about it. He totally overlooks, ignores, and dramatically underestimates his greatest son. One of the true greats in Westeros history, all because he is a dwarf.

It totally fits with his character that he wouldn't recognize Tyrion's accomplishments. And it doesn't help that he was unconscious long enough for Cercei to make sure that everyone fed Tywin lies about what happened.

Yeah in the book he fades in and out of consciousness for what I assumed was a few days, and I also got the feeling that people thought he was dead. Seemed to me like Cersei was leaving him there to die but he refused to.

I've read the first two books now. First book, I was pretty happy. The second book...WTF???

The book was so much better. Makes me wonder what in the hell the writers were thinking.

Funny, that fight is the one thing I liked better in the show than the book.

This. Just wait for spring. Or read Storm of Swords.

Rule number 1 of A Game of Thrones is You Do Not Spoil Yourself for A Game of Thrones.

Rule number 2 of A Game of Thrones is You Do Not Spoil Yourself for A Game of Thrones.

Or you read through all 5 books, realize nothing interesting will ever happen again, and then watch the show anyway.

Ohhhhhhhh ok. It just didn't click with me. If anything I figured that would be the final episode of the season with the way they are going to break the book up into two seasons.

I do wonder...with how the last two books are written...how much of Feast will just be skipped over. There are a lot of things that happen there that really doesn't need to be filmed.
