I know this movie has been out since July, but I didn't see a thread for this.

Oonagh and I just picked this up the other day and I we finally got around to watching it. I don't know what I expected, but is was definitely negative.

I was nicely surprised. It was a very fun movie and I loved Dr. Gru (voiced by Steve Carell).

Had it's share of laughs. As a testament to my high classs taste in humor, I laughed hardest when Dr. Nefario showed off the Fart gun. Good times, good times.

In addition to the silly humor, there was a nice story to it too.

I give it an 11, because my ratings to to 11.

Both this and Megamind were both wonderfully done. (This coming from someone who likes neither Steve Carell nor Wil Ferrell.)

Stay away from "The Office" at the end of this season then...

I enjoyed Megamind more, but Despicable Me was good. I was just disappointed with the "Little Orphan Annie" aspect of it. :(

It's pretty simple: I hate the Office. 40 year old virgin was blah. Get Smart was terrible.

Admittedly "Date Night" was good. So with Despicable Me, that's two things I've liked him in.

Prior to Megamind, I haven't liked Will Ferrell in anything since Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL (and then, Ferrell did a terrible Trebek impersonation, the sketch was good despite him, not because of him.)

(Similarly, I absolutely hate Jack Black, but Kung Fu Panda was incredible.)

I have two responses for this thread.

1. Loved the movie. I never get tired of hearing "IT'S SO FLUFFY!!"

2. Eat hot death.
