That went reasonably well. Aisha (sp?) did well behind the desk. I can take or leave special celebrity guests and hastags can DIAF. WLIIA doesn't need "gimmicks". New games were good. Several good gems already.

I don't care for Aisha (again with the sp?), and unfortunately too many of the games' content was NSFC, unlike the original or even Drew's line. I had to turn it off because my 12yo & 8yo were watching, and they got to "things you can say about your lunch but not your wife." It was funny, but too adult-oriented.

I was also surprised about that.

I'm not sure you guys are remembering the originals correctly. They were pretty blue...

Seconded, especially the British one. The British humor was more subtle, such that a kid might not get it but it was there.

They weren't using Gary Anthony Williams enough.

I missed episode 1 but two seemed much tamer than the British, Carey round 1 or the Carey Vegas run.

Then mebbe I'll check it out again. Farsky, I *do* remember the British version, from Comedy Central back in the early 90's. Saw the episodes new, taped 'em, re-watched 'em.

And yes, some of them *were* blue, but not nearly every game. And on Drew's Line, I remember how outrageous the Richard Simmons episode was at the time. It wasn't the very first episode, and it wasn't treated as ordinary. Everyone on the set was busting a gut - Drew took some time to regain composure.

But my kids could watch most of the episodes, although pre-screened. Aisha's Line, not so much.

I was unaware that was that much of a thing.
