General consensus seems to be decent but disappointing, not maleficenty enough.

We enjoyed it. (The girl child loved it.) Plot was so-so, visuals were excellent, but overall worth seeing. Jolie was perfectly cast, especially when she was allowed to be evil.

I would have preferred less post-modern feminist revisionist history, and more letting Angelina Jolie play the most vicious and evil sorceress ever to grace to silver screen.
