It's possible if it wasn't a straight shot, the dino didn't have room to get up to speed. Also it seemed like it was fairly close to where they were, plus the dino is 20 years old now. There was enough plausibility for me.
Yeah the same T rex who "didn't want to be fed" was happily snarfing down goats for the last 2-5 years. I'm not surprised he's lost a step or two.

More important question, Am I the only who saw this and at some point during the movie when Pratt was running from something heard the Indiana Jones theme playing in their head and thought "Oh yeah, he can so do this"?

Spoiler:
the geneticist escaped with whatever black market embryos inGen was working on. Ultimately the Islands are the only proper growing ground for such creatures. Beyond that, given the fractious (nod to Dr. Malcom intended) nature of the series, who the heck knows. If Chris Pratt isn't too busy being Star Lord and Indiana Jones, I'm sure the big wigs at universal would like to have him back as the protagonist, putting a stop to whatever sinister plans InGen (or whoever ends up with the embryos) is hatching (pun intended). However if they can't get him they've already proven they won't let a little thing like that stop them in The Search for More Money .

Heh. I'd agree with you if Owen were in any way the protagonist. Claire is.

If they bring him back, they'll have to Dr.-Malcolm-in-The-Lost-World him.

Saw this yesterday. Enjoyed it a lot. Did constantly think why is Star Lord and Wilson Fisk messing around with dinos though...

There's always that initial, scrapped plan: Dino-human hybrids...

Went to see this on Saturday. I enjoyed it. Had Star Lord not pointed out the shoes, the whole hub-bub about her running in heels wouldn't have ever come up. One edit. That is all it needs.

Also saw this on Saturday.
Also enjoyed the hell out of it.
Even with the heels having been mentioned, it was a non-issue for me. At least seven things crossed my mind, and it popped right out.
