I loved this movie! Saw this last night, and I can't wait to see it again.
I didn't think they could make Michael Myers, or his iconic theme music, any more terrifying than he already was. I was wrong, on both counts. They brought Michael back - in a big way. And even though this movie is a direct sequel to the original from 1978, and 'ignores' the other films in the franchise, they still give plenty of nods, and tongue-in-cheek references to the other films, that true fans of the series will appreciate.
Do yourself a favor, and go see this one on the big screen. It's not perfect, by any means. But it's a fantastic addition to the series, that pays homage to the original, while truly standing on it's own. And they definitely left it open for more sequels.
