Unless you're being sarcastic, Mus, I think you missed my lead-in. I'm really disappointed by this trailer. It seems like they're turning MLP:FIM into another generic tween girl's show, complete with boy crush, ***** popular girl, and nerdy-girl-gets-a-makeover cliches. And the point of it all seems to be so Hasbro can sell MLP Barbie knock-offs. If they had just made a real MLP:FIM movie, I'd be psyched, but this doesn't seem like it to me.

Considering that MLP:FIM has a bigger marketshare with 18-34 year old single males than it does 8-12 year old girls, Hasbro might actually be targeting their target demographic? As far as I'm concerned, anything that gets you guys to stop posting about these god forsaken ponies is win for me.

That pretty much enunciates my concerns with it. It would be quite the slap in the face to Faust's original vision for the show if they go down that road. I'm pretty sure it's the same team of writers, though, so I'm going to hold those concerns in check until I can actually see it. In short, I'm filling it under "not sure if want".
