Well he was probably trying to work out Captain America's speech on Healthcare and Welfare, which thankfully got cut.

That aside, even as a Thor fan, he is a tougher character to work into situations. Frankly he is so damn powerful he is best paired against galactic level threats. On a team with even most other super being he would over shadow his team mates. And I am still bitter that Superman got the knock out against Thor on a cross over, Thor's Hammer should have killed Supes.....grumble grumble

Well, while you're on a power level comparison, it's my understanding that Thor is closer in power to Iron Man than to the Hulk...Hulk would toss Thor around like a puppy. And in a crossover, while Hulk was stronger than Supes, it was supposedly not an easy fight.
