Never said I wouldn't watch it. It's just that when you end a movie like that, leaving little room to expand(you know, if you were normal, which clearly GdT is not, those sound like cool ideas) it can do more harm than good to make a sequel. I've seen so many movies where having a sequel was just so...forced. But he could certainly make it work and not make it seem forced.

Haha, this entire movie is pretty gratuitous fan service, I can't see how a sequel would feel forced in any way.

From what I read this was planned so it could be a trilogy if it did well.

Holy crap, it's not just Guillermo saying it, either...Legendary Films has officially announced that PACIFIC RIM 2 will hit theaters April 7, 2017.
