Probably not hard enough, but my favorite all-girl band is Sleater-Kinney. No female frontmen, there, just females.

Also, another all-girl lineup, The Donnas. Caught them when they came through Dallas, they were rowdy as hell. Reminded me of a little of a Female Motley Crue.

Not often I say something like this about metal-ish bands nowadays (Led Zeppelin and Hendrix about as heavy as I usually like), but I am really impressed with After Forever. I could (sorta) see myself playing that style and enjoying it thoroughly. (Not that I'm that good, mind you.)
