Spoiler:
I was right when I guessed who killed Harry, I was just completely wrong about who hired him to do it...

Spoiler:
I'd pegged Kincaid since either the end of Changes or when I read Aftermath and got a bit of the forensic stuff at the beginning. I'll admit, though, I wavered mid-way through Ghost Story, when Harry started to suspect Kincaid (and assume that Murphy was subconsciously avoiding him as a suspect) too early, by my judgement, in the course of the story. At that point, I started thinking about motivation, rather than means, and landed on Sanya at the behest of either Michael (Carpenter) or somebody angelic, most likely Uriel for obvious reasons. I liked that because Dresden had, back when Lasciel's photocopy was still kicking around in his head, asked Michael to end him if he turned into a monster. I assumed Sanya, based on that, because Michael retired, and I figured that Sanya, who's been known to be familiar with rifles, would be the person Michael (or an angel) would trust with the duty in Michael's stead. So I had the motive right at that point, and had previously been looking in the right direction for the agent, but it didn't occur to me to suspect the proper instigator.

So good job, Butcher. Though, you did have to use some withheld information, you did surprise me legitimately (and justified the withheld information elegantly) while providing a very satisfying solution.

Keeping secret the fact that Dresden put out his own contract doesn't make sense to me. It is actually a noble thing and seems something Molly would want to share after he 'died'.

I truly enjoyed the book, but was slightly annoyed at the incredible amount of foreshadowing and heavy clue dropping. It seemed the only thing I didn't see coming

Spoiler:
was Molly's Command Center.

I didn't see that Harry contracted his own hit before it was revealed, I was thinking it was Marcone.

Serious serious spoiler, don't look unless you've already read the book or aren't going to.

Spoiler:
Taskiss - I began to suspect it when Murphy was refusing to consider a professional hit man and her attachment to Kincaid. As I read the book I thought about how Kincaid wouldn't take a ht on Harry without the right reason and there would be damn few right reasons. Only two people could realistically order the hit on Harry - the Library and Harry himself. He wouldn't even do it for Murphy if she asked - not unless the Library or Harry concurred. I respect Kincaid's integrity and code of professionalism. The reason Harry would ask for it to be done would be to protect his friends, and once he was the Winter Knight his actions may not be his own choosing and he couldn't stand that. When he was told his body wasn't available I knew Mab had it. Who else was powerful enough to deny the Between, especially Uriel?

Just to bump this for generic Dresden discussion, check out the Jim Butcher AMA on Reddit. As of this writing, I can confirm that all of the threads Butcher responded to are Cold Days spoiler-free.

Here's my favorite excerpt:

Jim Butcher AMA Q/A wrote:
Q 2) How do you feel when people keep talking about Justin/Kemmler/Others as being not REALLY dead even after you've said that they're dead? Flattered that they think you're twisty and devious? Annoyed that they don't take a hint?

A 2) Oh, man, /I/ wouldn't trust me, if I was reading me. I tell giant, complicated, long-term LIES for a living, man. People pay me to manipulate their emotions--to make them laugh and cry, to cheer for the good guys and to hate the bad guys. What kind of person /does/ that for a living? I'll tell you what kind: the shifty, devious, untrustworthy kind. Don't believe a word I say. And they're Dead.
But there are levels of Dead, obviously. So was Harry.

It's not hard for me to figure out why I love Butcher. Also, let's throw Cold Days spoilers into this thread.
