this is a good read. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/941 ... huey-lewis Huey Lewis and the News was my FAVORITE band back in the 80's. Everyone else was in the MJ, Prince, Madonna...all that. But HL was my boy. LK and I had the oppurtunity to see them a couple of years ago. It was a casino here in MS, few thousand people I guess....but they put on a show as if it were 30k. Quality music, played to the crowd, gave everyone what they wanted. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. |
