Strong little indie sci-fi thriller developed with input from NASA. Give it a watch.

I missed out on all of those cult live-action Disney films of the time period. The Black Hole, The Watcher in the Woods, Something Wicked This Way Comes, etc. Hell, it's not Disney, but I had never even seen The Goonies until Phe finally insisted last year that I watch it.

I didn't watch a lot of movies as a kid...not until around 9th grade. Then the floodgates of cinematic interest opened.

What about the important ones like Flight of the Navigator and The Last Starfighter?

I've seen both, but my memory of them is extremely hazy.

That's okay. Time has not been kind to either one, though both were pretty cutting edge in the day.

I've also still never seen original-flavor Tron.

Ok, I feel like we're going to have to start building a list of nostalgia-films you have to watch and give us your excellent review on. It will be very interesting, as for most of us, they're completely covered in an ectoplasm of nostalgia, but you can view them fresh. The Goonies is one of my favorites, I'd be interested in seeing a Skee Skewering.

It actually aged fairly well, all things considered.

Ummm...do we need to do an intervention for FarSky in order for him to see some of these movies he has missed?? :)
