Wow, I didn't expect the Doctor in the modern series to actually age *older* when reconstituting. That's pretty bold for a modern audience which has been built in no small part off of sex appeal to geeks... |

I'd actually watch Doctor Who if he spoke like that the entire time. Not that I think the show is bad, the few episodes I've seen were certainly watchable...it's just there are so many of them and I'd want to start from the beginning and I don't think I have the time for that. But yeah, I'd watch it if he spoke like that the entire time without bothering with the rest. |

I don't know. I'm just hoping Netflix puts up the rest of season 7 before the Christmas simulcast. |

I'm quite happy with the choice. It's a deviation from Matt Smith, who's on the silly side, but I think he'll do a great roll of the Doctor moving forward. Change is good. |

Peter Capaldi absolutely blew me away as Frobisher in season three of Torchwood's "Children of Earth". I'm looking forward to his reign as the new Doctor. |
