I admit, I watch shows with Gordon Ramsay in them. And I particularly enjoy watching Master Chef. I heard on the radio that a new breed of Master Chef is coming, but this time the contestants are kids. My first thought was, that it would be quite the reality show if Gordon let loose on the kids as he does adults. "What is this pile of ****?!" "This is ****ing terrible! You honestly think that dish is good? You're a bloody ****ing idiot!" "You expect me to eat that?! It's ****ing raw! Start over!" "**** this! SHUT IT DOWN!" But, that's just my twisted brain's sense of humor. I'm honestly looking forward to the show. |

As am I. This has the possibility to be amazing. Gordon tearing into a kid, or Joe saying "Really? You think this is good enough? Wow." In that condescending tone he has. |

I like Gordon as a person but it really annoys me that every single time he speaks to people (or the camera), he always looks down or away every 3 seconds like he's thinking of what to say next. Like the only thing he can do eloquently without running it through his brain filter is yell insults. |

The kitchen nightmares and other shows where he goes and helps people out, you can see him interact with people a bit more unscripted. And not all of it is insults. He sometimes has to break people down in order to build them back up, and that's even gotten him close to some fistfights. But he's Scottish. What do you expect? ![]() And Mus, I agree. Joe is generally the far more critical and brutal of the three. Gordon has himself far more toned-down specifically for Master Chef. |

"This sandwich is so bad I mistook it for School Food!" "You're a bloody failure, in your seven years of life did you ever think you would be THIS useless?" |

I've caught a few episodes of the Food Network one and I feel like I'm gonna enjoy watching the Masterchef version more. We'll see tonight. |

I love Master Chef and Hell's Kitchen...Master Chef Junior should be great fun. Only problem I see with it (from what I've read) is that they are kicking kids out in groups so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. This is wrong in my opinion, but it's the "new PC way of doing things"! ![]() |

The Rachel and Guy show doesn't even kick kids off, they have a running total of points and pick a winner at the end. Can't blame them though, some kids can't handle an elimination competition. |

Watched this on Hulu Plus earlier this evening. I enjoyed it. I am amazed at the dishes they created and the way they presented them. If they keep eliminating them in groups, however, it will be a short season. ![]() |

There's still a real score, and a real winner and loosers so I'm willing to let that pass. It's like playing a swiss tournament instead of an elimination one. |

I kind of like the point system rather than elimination. That way one bad week doesn't knock you off completely. |
