I'm collecting too many shows and Grim and Constantine are yet to come.

Flash is good though. I think its coming along decently well.

Does everybody seem to be bipolar like they are in Arrow? I ask because that show spawned this one.

Ok, so any guesses on who Dr. Wells is or isn't supposed to be? The arrow has always been big on introducing characters and then slowly revealing them to be characters from the comics, so I figure he'll turn out to be someone we're already familiar with, but who?

Dr. Harrison Wells is the Anti-Flash. And The Flash is running headlong into Crisis, which was revealed in the 2nd episode. That's all straight lifted from canon. The Joe West/Iris West dynamic is straight up current 52 stuff.

I like the show, but does it seem to anyone else they are trying to get everything in the first season? I mean its a welcome change from the pacing that was Smallville, but they are leaning toward the opposite extreme perhaps.

This show remains hit-and-miss for me. Last week's episode was great, this week's was painfully bad.

Also, Captain Cold and Heat Wave are not suddenly immune to bullets because they have neat guns. There's nothing about them that makes them impossible for the central city PD to deal with. Plus Barry was a complete moron most of the episode.

My predictions:

The wormhole reopened because the current timeline is impossible.

They've already shown that the logic in this show states you can change the present by changing the past, Marty-McFly style. Eddie's suicide prevents Eobard Thawne from ever being born. This prevents him from going back in time and killing Barry's mother, which undoes all the events since that point. This means Eddie never needs to kill himself. Since everything then proceeds as it normally would have, Eobard Thawn is born over a century from now, and eventually returns to kill Barry's mom, setting in motion the events we just saw where Eddie eventually kills himself to prevent them.

There's a reason why history hasn't changed for anyone in the story - there is no valid timeline to which they can return. This is a major temporal paradox.
