Maybe? I am just sad that it is happening after we've already lost several members of the original cast (Jerry Nelson, Jim Henson...). |

Well, I grew up loving the Muppets, and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Muppets reboots with my kids(The muppets, and the Muppets: Most Wanted). The people who loved it growing up are producing it now, you can feel the nostalgia there. So I'm hopeful. |

I think it's less about what adults think and more about what kids think. If kids love the new fraggle rock, then the torch has been correctly passed on and Jim Henson would be proud. |

I looked for the clip from "muppets most wanted" where constantine says "it's time to light the lights" and he blows up the russian gulag. Unfortunately, disney has cracked down. So here is a rendition. Evil Kermit: "It's time to light the lights" Background: "KERRRBOOMEXPLOADEEEEDKROOOBROOMROMBEE" So basically, yaay new Muppets. |
