It has been my experience that most 'mashups' are just two songs rammed together without thought regarding content or rhythm. Someone thinks two songs are cool and decides that somehow they would be even more cool if they were compacted into one song.

I think this particular video was technically well done and as it was all the same artist, it blended well. It was a great snapshot of her many hits. That and I thought it was just plain catchy.
